Gillingham will wear blue in League One next season after supporters vote for classic kit
Gillingham’s supporters have voted overwhelmingly for a return to the club’s traditional colours after season ticket holders were given the chance to vote for the team’s 2013/14 kit.Fans were given the option to choose from designs based on the club’s hugely successful red centenary home shirt, the blue and red centenary away kit or the blue and white design worn the previous season.
Thousands of fans registered their favourite choice and a return to a kit based on the club’s blue and white 2011/12 kit proved the clear winner, with almost half of the votes cast.
