The Gillingham Centre of Excellence now boasts probably one of the best facilities used by a Youth Development programme in the Country following the opening by Hope Powell last month of the new state of the art "Pavilion" at the University of Kent at Canterbury.

There are 8 full sized changing rooms, each with en suite showering and toilet facilities, plus four changing rooms for officials, a medical room, meeting rooms, and a luxurious café' with balconies over looking both the artificial and grass pitches.

Centre of Excellence Manager Bryan Bull commented "The facilities on offer more than match anywhere we travel to, including venues such as the National Sports Centre at Bisham Abbey.
